SMSJottings from my Notebooks
Creating a blog is easy, difficult is to maintain it. For past few weeks I was not getting enough time to write. Even I was thinking what to write! Then suddenly this idea came into my mind. I believe that- to know someone as a student turn the pages of his notebook from back, not front. You'll find many stories there. Similar case for me too. As I've told earlier about no formal classes anymore, so thought to post some of the jottings from my notebooks.
Coming to my notebooks, they too have gone through lot of transitions. In first semester I used to have a single notebook, writing all subjects in that only. In second semester made separate notebooks for each subject. In third semester started taking notes in a single diary for all subjects. Fourth semester, a variant of it.... allotted each month a subject that too dynamically. Now, guess what in fifth semester....no notes, only Xerox of others' notes.
Jottings from my so called notebooks include sketches, pranks, games.....So many memories which will be preserved hereafter.
Apart from the pics shown, some other interesting things were also there like Avijit tried to teach me Bangla; a crash course that crashed itself...(coz even being a Bengali, I can't read/write Bangla).
In second semester, when we all used to fear (and hate) of Microprocessors and the concerned faculty ND, I and Vikas wrote an Assembly-like program on ND. For them who do not understand Assembly language, the idea behind the program is- it compares ND with Vampire, Calls our chancellor, Fires ND from college, sends ND to jail, where ND loops in the act 'chakki pisna', Finally sending ND to gutter and stop. Hope that ND doesn't read this.
Sometimes new music used to release in my notebook, like this one- title track from Trishnagi by Shaan.
But most fundu is paper chat... Often I and Vishnu used to chat in my notebook when the faculty forces us to keep silence in class. Who cares what crap is being taught... we always used to find a way to express ourselves. A sample chat session.
